Greenix Mark 1 was to be Batam's Huawei-built modular data centre: 16 MW at full build across 2,500 racks, a design PUE of 1.4, and prefabricated units from Huawei Digital Power, on a plot in the Meisterstadt area off Jl. Ahmad Yani in Batam Centre. PT Aesler Grup Internasional, an architecture and engineering firm listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as RONY, announced the Huawei agreement in December 2021, broke ground in January 2022 and targeted launch later the same year. It has published nothing about the project since. The 88 MW figure attached to the Greenix name is the programme total across three planned buildings, Mark 2 at 16 MW and Mark 3 at 56 MW, neither with a disclosed site. The structure was designed to withstand seismic intensity of 9 MMI.
