OSA1 occupies the Keihanshin OBP Building at 2-2-82 Shiromi in Chuo-ku, on the Osaka Business Park side of the city, and Digital Edge fitted it out as its first entirely self-built site rather than an acquisition. It opened on 4 January 2022, nine months after construction began in April 2021, sized at 14 MW and up to 2,600 cabinets. Digital Edge operates the fit-out as a tenant; the building itself was developed by Keihanshin Building Co. Three internet exchanges are present, and Equinix runs OS3 from the same address, which makes 2-2-82 Shiromi a two-operator building. Uptime holds no award for OSA1, and Digital Edge publishes no floor area for it.
