Rua José Blumer 150 in Chácaras Assay, Hortolândia, is ODATA's DC SP02, a Campinas-metro campus about ninety minutes up the Bandeirantes from the city of São Paulo rather than in it. The plot runs to 63,000 m², of which 9,600 m² is built and 5,600 m² is raised floor, and ODATA sells 40 MW of IT power across the campus at an average density of 8.0 kW per rack - 24 MW contracted, 16 MW still available, with ground held for two further buildings. Interconnection is the weak side: IX.br keeps no fabric on the campus, so tenants reach São Paulo peering over transport while ODATA sells the site as carrier neutral. ODATA became an Aligned Data Centers company in 2023, and Aligned passed out of Macquarie's hands in July 2026 to a consortium of AIP, MGX and the BlackRock infrastructure arm GIP. The certifications claimed here are management-system ones - PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type 2 and the ISO 9001, 14001, 20000, 27001 and 45001 set. ODATA's Uptime Institute awards belong to SP01, SP03 and Bogotá.

Frequently asked questions

Which municipality is DC SP02 in?
Hortolândia, in the Campinas metropolitan region of São Paulo state - roughly ninety minutes from the capital on the Bandeirantes and Anhanguera highways, and not in the city of São Paulo.
How much of the 40 MW at SP02 is still for sale?
16 MW. ODATA gives 40 MW of IT power for the campus with 24 MW already contracted, at an average of 8.0 kW per rack.
How much of the site is built out?
9,600 m² of the 63,000 m² plot, with 5,600 m² of raised floor in the first phase and room reserved for two more data centre buildings.
Which ODATA sites hold Uptime Institute certification?
SP01 at Santana de Parnaíba, SP03, and DC BG01 in Bogotá, all at Tier III. The Hortolândia campus holds none, and the certificates it does claim are management-system ones such as ISO 27001 and SOC 1 Type 2.
How do tenants at Hortolândia reach the São Paulo exchanges?
Over transport. IX.br has no fabric on the campus, so peering with the São Paulo or Campinas fabrics is carried out of the building on a tenant's own circuits.
Who owns ODATA today?
Aligned Data Centers, which acquired ODATA in a deal announced in late 2022 and closed in 2023. Macquarie sold Aligned on in July 2026 to a consortium made up of AIP, MGX and GIP, the BlackRock infrastructure business.
