About FogIXP

FogIXP began as iFog's own customer peering LAN and was opened to everyone in 2022. It now runs as a layer-2 fabric across twelve sites — Zurich, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Vienna, Barcelona and Norway — with 429 networks connected (Aug 2026). Ports are free at the core sites and charged at the extension sites, and participants supply their own optics. Joining needs a public ASN, at least one IPv6 prefix announced and current registry records.
