About PNG Neutral IX Hagen
PNG Neutral IX Hagen serves Mount Hagen in the highlands and is one of three fabrics of the neutral national exchange, owned in the registry by NICTA, the country's telecommunications regulator, rather than by a commercial operator. It is the newest of the operator's three nodes, registered in April 2022. Two networks are connected: Digicel PNG on a 10G port, which is also the route-server-facing peer, and Meta on 20G under a selective policy — a content cache serving the highlands locally rather than over international capacity. The peering LAN is 103.106.5.64/26, the fabric is IPv4 only, and the payload MTU is 1500.
