Cogent's Bordeaux hall is 400 m² in Bâtiment G2 at the Bassin à flots, the old dock basin north of the centre that the city rebuilt into a mixed commercial quarter. Bordeaux has become one of the more interesting French markets outside Paris — two hours from the capital on the high-speed line, growing faster than the national average, and with transatlantic subsea capacity landing on the Gironde coast west of the city, which makes it relevant to routing and not only to local demand. Orange and the regional operator inolia are in the building beside Cogent, and fire protection here uses inert-gas suppression with a preaction sprinkler system.
