About MVIXP
The Maldives exchange was established in late 2021 as a not-for-profit and is the only one serving the archipelago. 4 networks connect, among them Packet Clearing House. The published price, in force since 1 August 2022, is a one-time MVR 5,000 joining fee plus MVR 7,000 a month for membership, with 1G and 10G ports offered and no per-speed breakdown. The route servers sit on AS150125. Joining is a four-step process: review the pricing and peering policy, submit the application form and customer data template, hold a technical discussion with the operator, then sign the membership agreement.
