MIL01 occupies Via Monzoro 101-105 in Cornaredo, on the western edge of the Milan conurbation, and it is the larger of DATA4's two campuses in the metro: 170 MW across 20 hectares, against 100 MW on 8 hectares at MIL02 in Vittuone, for a Milan total of 28 hectares and 317 MW of electrical reserve. Connectivity is the reason a Milanese buyer looks here first. The campus carries dedicated points of presence for MIX, the Milan Internet Exchange, and for TOP-IX, so peering at both Italian exchanges happens on site rather than over a metro circuit. DATA4 develops, builds and runs its own campuses across Europe and leases space in them to third parties.
