Of the three Swedish availability-zone localities, Eskilstuna is the one documented as built in explicit stages, and the stages have run slow: three server halls were planned and only stage one stood complete in August 2020, two years after the site entered service. It occupies ground in Eskilstuna Logistikpark at Kjula, east of the city, to which Amazon added 123,000 m² in December 2018 for SEK 30.7m — the smallest of the three land purchases it made around Stockholm that month. A further 88,000 m² of floor area was proposed in January 2022.
