Fifty hectares at the Hamre industrial park in Långsele, in Sollefteå municipality about 490 km north of Stockholm, are zoned and prepared for a 300 MW campus that atNorth confirmed on 23 February 2026 and targets for the first half of 2028. Sweden already carries two atNorth sites, at Kista and Akalla in Stockholm, and the group counts eight operating data centres with three more coming at Kouvola in Finland, Ølgod in Denmark and Stockholm. Långsele is the earliest-stage of them: secured land rather than a build, which atNorth says the completed zoning will let it move on quickly. Four days after the announcement, CPP Investments and Equinix agreed to buy atNorth from Partners Group for US$4 billion.
