Gyeongbuk AI Cloud Data Center opened on 29 June 2025 in Yecheon-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, under a public-private partnership between kt cloud, the province and Yecheon County - the first Korean cloud data centre built that way. kt cloud runs it for its own platform and for public institutions and enterprises in the region. The building covers about 9,828 m2 of floor area on four storeys, on a site of some 7,970 m2, and carries 6 MW of IT capacity within 10 MW of received power. Investment came to about KRW 110 billion; the structure meets Korea's highest seismic grade.
