Ground was broken on 28 May 2026 at 663-3 Sunggok-dong in Danwon-gu, Ansan, for a 40 MW AI data centre inside the Sihwa National Industrial Complex. DCI Data Centers, which Brookfield owns, is designing, building and will operate it; Koramco Asset Management holds the co-equity position and oversees the investment structure, and Hyundai Engineering & Construction is the contractor. The site covers about 10,448 m2 of land, with roughly 26,810 m2 of floor area planned. Ansan is a Gyeonggi-do city on the coast south-west of Seoul, and the project is separate from DCI's SEL01 at 459-2 Gasan-dong in Geumcheon-gu, about 30 km away, which is also being built. Koramco has committed to putting roughly KRW 10 trillion into data centres by 2032, targeting 1.4 GW across the Seoul metropolitan area and regional hubs.
