CPH02 is Penta Infra's second Copenhagen project, and it is a build rather than a building. Penta announced on 2 September 2024 that it had bought a site in the Copenhagen metropolitan region for a data centre of more than 20,000 m2 delivering 20 MW of IT load, and has published no street address, contractor or completion date for it since. On its own Copenhagen page the same capacity is framed as the next phase around CPH01 at Smedeland 32 in Glostrup, growing into CPH02 and eventually a third phase on a campus model. Penta Infra is a portfolio company of Photon Capital, with the Dutch pension investor PGGM also named as a backer, and it held twelve data centres across Germany, France, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands when the Copenhagen ground was acquired.
