Crusoe Goodnight Campus

Crusoe files this one in Texas as Project Llano through the entity GN DC1, LLC; its own name for it is the Goodnight campus, on Lima Road outside Claude in Armstrong County. Seven buildings are planned, four of them at 805,380 sq ft and two at 484,955 sq ft, phased as 530 MW across the first four and 500 MW across the remaining three, for more than a gigawatt in total against a reported project cost of 29 billion dollars. Power is the distinguishing feature. Rather than the flare-gas arrangement Crusoe built its name on, the campus is designed around a purpose-built natural gas plant of up to 933 MW burning pipeline gas, for which an air permit application went to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in early 2026 - a plant that would emit more than 4.5 million tons of greenhouse gases a year. Building 3 broke ground on 25 May 2026, Building 4 is targeted for the end of the first quarter of 2027, and first-phase capacity is due between August 2026 and February 2027.
