Iron Mountain Hutto-5 is a planned phase of Iron Mountain's first Texas data center campus — roughly 500 acres off FM 3349 near Hutto in Williamson County, north of Austin. Up to seven buildings are planned, supported by an on-site substation and closed-loop cooling that is expected to use less water than the residential development previously proposed for the site. Iron Mountain targets first grid-connected capacity around 2030.
