OADC LOS1 – Lagos
Yemi Adetayo Street, Lekki Penninsula II, Lagos, 105102, NG
OADC built LOS1 on Yemi Adetayo Street in Lekki Peninsula II, in the Lekki corridor east of Lagos Island rather than in the older Marina and Victoria Island cluster. The facility holds 7,200 m² of white space on a 25 MVA electrical service taken across dual feeds; the IT load behind that service is not disclosed. Twenty-five networks and two internet exchanges land in the building, which puts it among the better connected rooms in Nigeria - the country's exchange operator keeps its own sites at Marina, Interconnect Nigeria and Port Harcourt. Uptime Institute certified the design documents for LOS1 Phase 1 at Tier III; no constructed-facility certification has followed, so the award attests the drawings rather than the finished building. OADC is the data centre arm of WIOCC and owns the site outright, alongside Parklands at 7-9 Keyes Drive and JNB1 at 18 Electron Avenue in Johannesburg and CPT1 in Cape Town.
