DC BLOX Chattanooga
807 East 16th Street, Chattanooga, TN, 37408, US
DC BLOX Chattanooga at 807 East 16th Street is an 8,000 sq ft precast-concrete building with 1 MW of critical load, designed to grow to 16,000 sq ft and 3.5 MW on the same lot. The company held its grand opening there on 28 September 2017 after putting more than $10 million into the city. Utility power arrives as dual 1,600-amp smart-grid services from separate substations, backed by N+N generators and N+N UPS with 36 hours of fuel on site, and cooling comes from a 280-ton air-cooled chiller plant and a 240-ton dry-cooler plant behind hot-aisle containment. Six networks are on site, with AT&T, Comcast, Charter, Cogent, Lumen and Zayo reached through virtual cross-connects. Up to 2,000 sq ft of tenant office space with a conference room and receiving area sits beside the hall. Buyers take 50U lockable cabinets, cages or a build-to-suit hall.
