ColoCrossing BUF1
325 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY, 14202, US
ColoCrossing BUF1 occupies 13,000 sq ft at 325 Delaware Avenue in downtown Buffalo, the company's second New York data center, opened in July 2012 and carried in its own location table as commissioned in 2014. Utility capacity is 1.44 MW with 1.4 MW of generator backing, drawn from a grid fed by Niagara Falls hydroelectric generation, and the cooling plant totals 130 tons. Seven networks meet in the building, with Arelion, Cogent, Crown Castle and GTT as the transit carriers behind a native 100 Gbps backbone. Access runs through biometric and card controls with electronic monitoring of the building, perimeter and environmental conditions around the clock, and the colocation contract carries a 100% uptime service level. Buyers take dedicated servers, single cabinets or private suites here, with remote hands, BGP IP and DDoS mitigation as add-ons.
