Cogent Data Center – Pittsburgh
3126 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA, 15201, US
Colocation space
5,880
sq ft
Cogent's Pittsburgh facility runs 5,880 square feet on Liberty Avenue in the Strip District, and it is the only site the carrier operates in Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh earns a network position on two counts. It sits where the routes between the eastern seaboard, Cleveland and the Ohio valley converge, so traffic between the Northeast and the Midwest can terminate here rather than in Ashburn or Chicago. And the city has rebuilt itself around robotics, autonomous systems and university research, which produces exactly the kind of compute that wants to stay local. Cages can be built out alongside cabinets here, and the site is wave-enabled.
