CyrusOne DUR1 at 2223 NE Creek Parkway in Durham holds 92,320 sq ft of raised floor across eleven data halls, laid on a 42-inch floor under 24-foot ceilings. Sentinel Data Centers redeveloped the building from 2013 and sold it to CyrusOne on 28 February 2017, when it held 100,000 sq ft of usable data center space with 50,000 sq ft leased to twelve tenants. Cooling runs on N+2 Trane chillers feeding 60-ton Liebert CRAH units with variable-speed fans, and the hall entries use dual authentication with biometrics and key cards. The campus is planned for 40 MW of IT capacity, a figure that includes the DUR2 shell delivered next door in 2025. Six networks are on site, and the facility sits in a Zone X flood area close to Raleigh-Durham International Airport. A buyer takes a hall or part of one in DUR1 while DUR2 remains a shell.
