About NSPIXP3

NSPIXP-3 is Osaka's internet exchange, run by the WIDE Project and in service since 1997. Deployed in October of that year, it was the first exchange in Japan established outside Tokyo and the country's first distributed one, built across two sites from the start. Twenty-two autonomous systems are recorded on the fabric, among them KDDI, Internet Initiative Japan, SAKURA Internet, the WIDE Project itself on two addresses, and Internet Systems Consortium. It runs dual-stack on 202.249.38.0/24 and 2001:200:0:fe10::/64, addressing drawn from WIDE's own allocations, across three named buildings in the city.
