Greece's exchange is run by GRNET, the state-owned non-profit research network, and traces back to the Athens Internet Exchange of 1999. 76 members connect across three sites — the National Hellenic Research Foundation, the Digital Realty campus at Koropi and the TI Sparkle data centre. Monthly fees excluding 24 percent VAT, effective 1 January 2026, are EUR 130 at 1G, EUR 350 at 10G, EUR 900 at 40G, EUR 1,000 at 100G and EUR 2,600 at 400G, with installation charged once per optic type. Three route servers on AS50745 reject RPKI-invalid prefixes and anything without a matching registry route object.
