About InteRed Panama

InteRed Panamá was established on 20 April 1997 with support from SENACYT, the national science and technology secretariat, and is constituted as a non-profit private association with a published board. The operator's own member table lists 30 associates, among them Cable & Wireless Panama, which joined in April 1997, and a content delivery network that joined in March 2025; G-Core, KIO Networks, Packet Clearing House and CDNetworks are also on the fabric. Peak aggregate traffic on the operator's public grapher runs around 118 to 120 Gbps. In December 2024 the exchange announced three associates connected at 100 Gbps each. It runs IXP Manager with a public grapher, peering matrix, looking glass and member directory, and is a member of LAC-IX and a MANRS participant.
