This is the second of Amazon's two Madison County campuses and the larger commitment: $10.5bn on ground taken off Highland Colony Parkway through JDJ Realty in October 2024, about 140 acres in the first tract. Seventeen buildings are planned, the first five targeted for 2028, and the site has been in clearing and dirt work through 2026 under a site plan the Ridgeland aldermen approved unanimously. Entergy Mississippi is building a substation for it. The City of Ridgeland is the sole water supplier and expects to sell 91 to 93 million gallons a year, about 4% of its annual production, underwritten by a $63m water and sewer package.
