Telxius Cable (AS12956) is the Telefónica group's international backbone and subsea business, owned 70% by Telefónica and 30% by Pontegadea. It operates nine subsea systems spanning more than 100,000 km — among them Marea, Brusa, Dunant, Tannat, Junior and Mistral — with 26 landing stations and around 100 points of presence, and sells IP transit, dedicated Internet access, cloud connectivity, remote peering, Ethernet, wavelengths, spectrum, dark fibre, colocation and DDoS protection.

Transit ports are published from 100 Mbps to 100 Gbps, with no 400 gigabit option stated, and the service supports IPv4 and IPv6. Attack mitigation is a separately purchased shield rather than a bundled feature, and no numeric service level is published, so both belong in the contract discussion rather than the comparison sheet.
