Interconnection is unusually easy — an open policy with no ratio, contract or location requirement — and private links start at 100 and 400 gigabit, with no new 10-gigabit interconnects being provisioned. A network moving at least 20 gigabits of Steam traffic can also apply to host a Valve-supplied cache on site, which Valve says removes up to 90% of that load.
