Core-Backbone (AS33891) operates a European carrier network from more than 60 points of presence across 75 data centre locations in 17 countries, weighted heavily toward Germany and the wider DACH region, on its own wavelength system of more than 4,300 km with over 60 Tbps of edge capacity. It sells IP transit, internet access, wavelengths, Layer 2 circuits, remote peering, cloud connectivity, DDoS protection, colocation and dedicated servers.

For a tenant in a German or Central European carrier-neutral facility, Core-Backbone is frequently already in the building and sells almost everything you would otherwise buy from three suppliers. Transit runs on 1, 10, 40, 100 and 400 gigabit interfaces with billing at the 95th percentile or flat, aggregated across several ports and sites, and blackhole communities are provided at no charge. Layer 2 circuits and connectivity scale from 100 Mbps to 400 Gbps, so a customer can take Internet transit and private capacity between sites on one contract. It publishes no numeric service level, which is the trade against an incumbent in the same building.
