Hurricane Electric (AS6939) operates an independently owned global IP backbone built around carrying IPv4 and IPv6 on equal terms, with five redundant 100G paths across North America, four separate 100G paths to Europe, and 100G rings through Europe, Asia and Australia and around Africa.
