About ArmIX

ArmIX is Armenia's national exchange, run by the ARMIX Foundation, established in 2010. 33 networks connect over 37 ports carrying 534 Gbps, with Meta at 200G on a selective policy and Akamai and Telecom Armenia at 20G each. Alongside the carriers the fabric carries a concentration of critical infrastructure — Akamai, Google, Meta, Netnod, Packet Clearing House and RIPE NCC authoritative DNS are all present, so root and top-level domain name service resolves inside the country. The peering LAN is 91.218.7.0/25 with 2001:7f8:94::/64 from the RIPE NCC's exchange block, route servers on AS51225, and IPv6 adoption runs at about 51% of ports.
