Getting connected
The applicant must be a legal entity holding its own autonomous system number from RIPE NCC, APNIC, LACNIC or ARIN, or hold LIR status, with the number registered to that organisation; private-range numbers are refused. Only BGP4 is permitted on the peering VLAN and every announced route must be registered in a routing registry. 1000BASE-T is recommended with autonegotiation disabled. Permitted frame types are IPv4, ARP, IPv6 and 802.1Q; broadcast and multicast are barred except ARP and IPv6 neighbour discovery, with ARP capped at 20 packets a second per port.
