IRAQ-IXP is Baghdad's exchange, operated as a joint venture between Civilization Co., TAURUS ARM and ITPC, the Iraqi state telecommunications and post company. 32 networks connect over 33 ports carrying 1.3 Tbps, with 20 of the 32 on an open policy and 93% running IPv6 — Akamai and Meta each at 200G, GCCIT and Kaopu Cloud Hong Kong at 100G, and Iraqi regional operators from 1G upward. The peering LAN is 128.0.45.0/24 and 2a10:fa42:0:6::/64 behind a route server on AS211100 that runs a selective policy. The operator sells IP transit, colocation and CDN services alongside the exchange, and runs a research initiative with Iraqi universities.
