Getting connected
A prospective member needs its own autonomous system number, its own address block, a BGP-capable router and access to a point of presence. Six published steps: review the requirements, submit the onboarding form and sign the membership memorandum, pay against a quote covering the joining fee, first membership fee and port charges, take a port allocation and arrange the cross-connect through the colocation facility, receive peering addresses and configure BGP, then go live. The operator states the process takes two to four days. Joining fee NGN 250,000 once, membership NGN 65,000 a quarter
