About Kherson Traffic Exchange

IX.KS.UA is the traffic exchange point for Kherson in southern Ukraine. It holds both of the standard RIPE NCC exchange-point assignments — 185.1.39.0/24 out of the 185.1.0.0/16 block and 2001:7f8:80::/64 — which is the clearest independent marker of a registered exchange fabric. Three networks connect over four 10G ports, all of them route-server peers and all IPv6-enabled. The operator publishes a full route-server policy: inbound, the servers reject prefixes the announcing network does not hold, private and default routes, multicast, and anything longer than a /24 unless tagged for blackholing, and participants steer announcements with structured communities for suppression, prepending, local preference and blackholing.
