About LIPTAM
LIPTAM is a peering fabric in Vilnius whose name describes it as the Lithuanian internet service providers' traffic exchange node. Four networks connect for 24 Gbps: the Lithuanian Radio and Television Centre and the cable provider CGATES at 10G on open policies, and the academic and research network LITNET on a selective 2G port alongside INIT Vilnius at 2G. That roster — the national broadcast transmission operator, two commercial cable providers and the research network — marks it as a domestic interconnect for Lithuanian eyeball and public-sector traffic. The peering LAN is an IPv4 /26 rather than the customary /24, with IPv6 on 2001:778:0:1001::/64.
