SHIXP is the Shanghai node of China's state-designated new-type internet exchange centres, run by Shanghai New-Type Internet Exchange Center Co., Ltd. 19 networks connect over 32 ports carrying 2.2 Tbps, with 18 of the 19 on an open peering policy and 90% of them running IPv6. Alibaba, Huawei Cloud, Tencent, Oriental Cable, ByteDance's Volcano Engine and Zhejiang Watone Cloud are each in at 100G. The peering LAN is 103.183.26.0/23 with 2400:5f60:0:8::/64 and two route-server ASNs, and the operator publishes a live traffic dashboard giving in and out, peak and average throughput alongside port counts.
