TWIX has been in service since November 1997 and is operated by Chunghwa Telecom's Data Communication Business Group. Chunghwa's own page counts 26 member ISPs across 31 port entries, including HiNet at 100G, Amazon at two 100G ports, Google, Cloudflare, Akamai, Taiwan Fixed Network at 40G, Seednet and APOL. The fabric is Ethernet switching plus route reflectors on AS7481, with both multilateral and bilateral peering, a peering LAN of 210.62.255.0/24 and 2001:7fa:1:7481::/112, and an MTU of 1500. Members must hold legitimate address space and an AS number.
