About UZ-IX
UZ-IX is operated by Uzbektelecom JSC, the Uzbek incumbent, from four connection points in Tashkent, and the operator names 13 participants: Sarkor Telecom, Nano Telecom, Iplus, FLINK, Daniel Group Telecom, Maxemex, Netka Telekom, Lit Tel, Digital Tel Net, Unitel, Koinot TV, NET TELEVISION and ARS-Inform. The operator gives aggregate exchanged traffic as more than 170 Gbps. Handoffs are 1000Base-T, 1000Base-LX and 10GBase-LR, with 100G interfaces in use. Peering LANs are 185.0.23.0/24, 84.54.111.0/24 and 2001:7f8:110::/64. The technical policy bars IRDP, ICMP Redirect, STP, DHCP, OSPF, IS-IS and vendor discovery protocols on the fabric, and all multicast and broadcast except ARP and IPv6 neighbour discovery, with ARP capped at 20 packets a second per port. Fees are handled through Uzbektelecom's public offer contract rather than a rate card.
