About VNIX-DN

VNIX-DN is the central-region node of Vietnam's national exchange, built and operated by VNNIC under a ministerial document of 29 August 2003. The exchange exists so that a provider connects once and reaches the rest of the domestic market rather than buying transit or building bilateral links to every other network. Five networks connect over six ports for 6G of capacity, every one of them on an open policy and every one peering with the route servers, with IPv6 enabled across the whole fabric. Two route servers run on AS56156 at 218.100.60.1 and .254, on a peering LAN of 218.100.60.0/24 and 2001:de8:3::/48 at an MTU of 1500.
