ROM1 on Via delle Testuggini in Municipio IX, south-east Rome, is under construction with completion targeted for 2027 — it is not taking deployments today, and Digital Realty's own specification for it reads as though it were finished, so treat what follows as the design rather than an operating plant. It is being delivered as four modules of 0.8 MW each, 3.2 MW of installed IT capacity in total, with uninterruptible power at 2N and cooling also at 2N, which is a materially heavier thermal design than anything else this operator runs in southern Europe. Uptime Institute has awarded it Tier IV Certification of Design Documents; there is no constructed-facility award, because there is not yet a constructed facility.
