MAL01 sits in the Guadalhorce industrial estate on the western edge of Malaga, at Calle Eduardo Queipo de Llano Caballero 59, and it is the smallest of Templus's Spanish sites by IT floor - 400 sq m of technical surface inside roughly 2,200 sq m of building after the expansion Templus paid 15 million euros for in November 2024, which added a third data room of 40 racks. Total power is 2.8 MW on the operator's own page for the site, and racks are sold in a 2 kW to 12 kW band. Supply is entirely renewable and part of it is generated on site: this is the only Templus building with its own photovoltaic plant. Interconnection is regional rather than metropolitan - twelve networks, one exchange and one carrier are present, against MAD01's 20 MW and BCN02's 5.7 MW, which are the platform's volume sites. Templus was assembled by ICG and Teras Capital out of the Spanish telco Avatel's data centre business in February 2024. A further expansion started in April 2026. The Tier III Ready description Templus uses is a design claim, not an award.
