The Rama 9 central business district in Bangkok is the location for a two-building, 19,000 m2 data centre campus that DAMAC Digital is developing with the Thai carrier PROEN Corp Plc. DAMAC holds 70 per cent of the joint venture and takes responsibility for running the site. Capacity is disclosed at 20 MW in total, split 10 MW to each building, with 5 MW targeted at first go-live. The partnership was announced on 11 October 2024, four months after DAMAC first said it would put 20 MW into Bangkok, and the parties have framed spending of more than THB 32 billion across three or four Thai projects. PROEN already runs two Bangkok data centres of its own, together about 7 MW across 12,000 m2.
