Lancaster, at the southern end of Dallas County, is where STACK put its DFW02 campus: 193 acres along E Beltline Road, with two-storey computer buildings registered at 1000 and 1100 E Beltline Road. The first runs to 360,028 sq ft and started in May 2025 against a March 2027 completion date; the second, 360,044 sq ft and a $202 million job against $79.7 million for its predecessor, broke ground in January 2026 for March 2028. STACK plans upwards of 300 MW of critical capacity on the site and describes room to grow past 500 MW. Two cautions come with the code. STACK itself used DFW02 for a Plano site in Collin County during 2022 before bringing the name south, so early references describe different ground; and QTS is building its own DFW2-numbered project in Lancaster, a $290 million scheme in the same city and county.
