TOR2 opened in December 2010 at 905 King Street West, a short run of fiber west of Toronto's Front Street carrier hotel, and has been expanded three times since. Twenty thousand square feet sit in an Allied Properties building that Cologix shares with its newer TOR3 facility, and a diverse dark-fiber ring runs from here into the TOR1 meet-me room at 151 Front Street. That ring is the point: a tenant at TOR2 reaches TorIX and the full Front Street carrier ecosystem without paying carrier-hotel rates for cabinet space. Power is customer-selectable up to 2N on UPS and generator, cooling runs N+1 on high-performance chillers with APC in-row units and hot-aisle containment, and the floor supports 150 watts per square foot with high-density configurations above 8 kW per cabinet. Customer workspace, a conference room and a break room are on site.
