MTN Nigeria opened the Dabengwa Data Center in Ikeja, Lagos on 1 July 2025, naming it for the late Sifiso Dabengwa, a former chief executive of the MTN group. Phase one fills three floors with 780 racks at 4.5 MW of IT load, heading for 9 MW at full build, against a stated investment of US$235 million. Uptime Institute certified DC01 as a constructed Tier III facility and separately certified the design documents for DC01 and a second hall, DC02, which is not yet built.
