CoreSite Los Angeles (LA3)
200 Bauchet St, Los Angeles, CA, 90012, US
LA3 at 200 Bauchet Street was the first purpose-built, ground-up data center raised inside the city of Los Angeles, opened in November 2020 on a four-story frame of ConXtech prefabricated steel that went up in five weeks. It offers 160,000-plus square feet against 18 MW of total capacity, of which the first phase fitted out 6 MW of critical load, with utility power taken at 12kV. Redundancy is N+1 through UPS, PDU, RPP and generators, and the mechanical design is self-contained rooftop air-conditioning with integrated dehumidification and variable-speed fans - lighter and newer than the chiller and cooling-tower plants at the two older LA buildings. NVIDIA lists LA3 among its DGX-Ready data centers, one of four CoreSite sites to qualify. Rooftop deployment space is sold here, and dark fiber reaches LA1 and LA2.
