Alpharetta is the operator's Atlanta-metro interconnection hub, and it earns that role by hosting the MegaIX Atlanta exchange in the building along with Megaport Global Access. The July 2025 Megaport expansion added on-ramps here to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud and IBM Cloud, making this the cloud door in Georgia while Smyrna carries the recovery-seating business. The former SunGard Availability Services site offers 4.3 MW behind 2N UPS and six N+1 generators, with 52 CRAC units on UPS-backed power. Four security layers, 42 cameras on 90-day retention, two conference rooms and a 5,000 lb lift-gate dock support customer work on site.
