Equinix SV4
255 Caspian Drive, Sunnyvale, CA, 94089, US
Equinix SV4 is a single-storey, reinforced-concrete IBX at 255 Caspian Drive in Sunnyvale, the only Sunnyvale building in Equinix's current Silicon Valley line-up. What sets it apart is that Microsoft has made it the Silicon Valley peering location for Azure ExpressRoute on the US Government cloud, with ExpressRoute Direct supported and AT&T, Equinix, Lumen and Verizon as providers; of Equinix's four standalone Silicon Valley sites, SV4 is the only one that either AWS or Microsoft names as an on-ramp location. The 67,619 sq ft colocation floor runs N+1 power, UPS and generators with 30+ hours of fuel at full load and high-efficiency UPS, and N+1 cooling that pairs free cooling and heat recovery with hot/cold aisle containment. Sixteen networks, among them Aryaka, China Mobile International, Cogent and Gcore, are present alongside Equinix Internet Exchange San Jose and NetIX. Minimum density is 2 kVA per cabinet, and Secure Cabinet Express, private cages, Flex Space and Equinix Fabric are all available.
