Equinix SV15 occupies Pod C at 2970 Corvin Drive, Santa Clara, the largest and only two-storey pod on the campus, with 28,514 sq ft of colocation space in a steel-frame building with a 250 psf raised floor. Among the three Corvin pods it alone lists High-Density Cooling and Campus Cross Connects, and it alone sits above the 500-year rather than the 100-year flood elevation. Power, UPS and generators are each N+1 with 30+ hours of generator autonomy at full load, cooling is N+1 with free cooling under a reflective roof, and cabinets start at 5 kVA. Entry is by proximity card through mantraps, fire protection is double-interlock pre-action suppression, and parking sits on the east side of SV16 at campus security. Equinix acquired the pod with Verizon's SJC3 site on 1 May 2017. Cabinets, private cages and high-density positions here cross-connect within the pod, across the Corvin campus, or onto Equinix Fabric and the Equinix Internet Exchange.
