DataBank SLC1 – Downtown Salt Lake City
179 E Social Hall Ave, Salt Lake City, UT, 84111, US
SLC1 at 179 East Social Hall Avenue is DataBank's downtown Salt Lake City suite — 10,610 square feet of IT space on half a megawatt, 2N power, with 40 carriers on net. It is a different product from the Granite Point campus twenty miles south: a small, extremely well-connected in-city position rather than a place to put load. Forty carriers behind ten thousand square feet is a ratio that only makes sense in a downtown interconnection building, and that is what this is. A tenant typically pairs it with capacity at Granite Point, keeping the network edge downtown and the compute out on the campus.
