This Charlotte address is not a data centre yet. Digital Realty bought the Court Arcade Building at 725 East Trade Street in March 2025, part of roughly $16 million spent on two parcels next to its existing uptown cluster, and announced in October 2025 that the 1920s Classical Revival structure would be demolished. In its place the operator has filed for a four-storey building carrying about 12 megawatts of IT capacity, with the mechanical yard toward East Fifth Street. No facility code, floor area, redundancy design or certification exists for it. Charlotte requirements needing space now are served by the operator's three operating buildings on the same two blocks.
